A new website and local SEO for the sign and wrap shop LIL MEM
LIL MEM makes vehicle wraps, shop signage, banners and printed textiles. I replaced their old WordPress site with a fast new one that shows their services through real jobs and is built to be found by people nearby.

The starting point
LIL MEM s. r. o. is a sign and print shop from Kopčany near Holíč, in the Záhorie region of western Slovakia: company and custom car wraps, shop signage, banners and signs, brand identity, textile printing and print. The company had an old WordPress site and needed a new one: fast, modern and able to sell its services to people and businesses nearby.
So I built the site around real jobs. Photos of finished work open the home page, sit on every service page and fill the gallery, and every page is a short step away from an enquiry.
What I built
A website built around real jobs
Instead of generic promises, it shows finished work: wrapped cars, vans and shopfronts from Záhorie and nearby.
A home page with live examples
A slider of finished jobs, such as a retro racing wrap on a Porsche 944, next to the full list of services.
Eight service pages
Company and custom car wraps, shopfront graphics, banners and signs, brand identity, textile printing, print and more. Each has its own copy, examples and FAQs.
A project gallery
62 projects and 312 photos in five categories, with a filter and a full-screen viewer. Clicking a job opens all of its photos.
Town pages
Holíč, Skalica, Gbely, Senica and, across the Czech border, Hodonín, each with its own copy.
About and contact
The company's story, the workshop address in Kopčany and an enquiry form.

Local SEO
So that people nearby find LIL MEM
The workshop is in Kopčany near Holíč, so the site targets people and businesses in the area who are looking for a car wrap, a banner or shop signage.
- Holíč
- Skalica
- Gbely
- Senica
- Hodonín
Pages for five towns
Holíč, Skalica, Gbely, Senica and Hodonín. Each has its own copy about the work done there, not just a swapped town name.
The service area on every service page
Every service page says where the company works and answers the questions customers ask.
Business and website connected for Google
Structured data with the company's address and location matches its Google Business Profile, and Google reviews are on the site.
Old links still work
Addresses from the old WordPress site redirect to the new pages, so old links and search results do not lead nowhere.

Details
What matters, even when you cannot see it

Fast on phones
The site is tuned for phones. Every photo has a tiny blurred preview of about 200 bytes, so the page is usable straight away while the photos load. I also fixed bugs that only show up on iPhones: the gallery viewer, zooming while typing into the form and a flash on the home page.
Phone photos without the hassle
New photos go through one command: it resizes them to 2400 px at most and strips GPS and other phone metadata, so the site never gives away where a photo was taken.
Enquiries through their own mail server
The form sends enquiries from the server through the company's own mailbox at Websupport, with no third-party service in between. Replies go straight to the customer. A hidden field, a minimum fill time and a rate limit keep spam out.
Privacy done properly
The privacy page describes exactly what the site does with personal data, including the anonymous visit statistics, and changes along with the site.
Live at www.lilmem.sk
The site is live. Take a look, ideally on your phone.
